Spessartine Garnet & Black Tourmaline on Feldspar – Skardu Pakistan

This specimen captures the incredible mineral diversity of the Skardu region. At its heart are multiple, gemmy Spessartine Garnet crystals, boasting a rich, "Mandarin" orange-to-red hue and sharp dodecahedral faces. These garnets provide a warm, fiery glow that sits in perfect contrast to the surrounding minerals.

Interwoven with the garnets are prismatic, well-formed crystals of Black Tourmaline, known for their deep, light-absorbing black color and distinct vertical striations. To add a touch of brilliance, plates of silvery-white Mica are scattered throughout, catching the light like tiny mirrors. The entire scene is hosted on a snowy-white Feldspar matrix, which acts as a natural gallery pedestal for this multi-mineral cluster.
