Etched Rhodolite Garnet on Feldspar – Skardu Pakistan

Sourced from the prestigious Shigar Valley region, this 41.5ct specimen features multiple Rhodolite Garnet crystals. Unlike the more common orange varieties from this locality, these garnets display the beautiful purplish-red to raspberry-pink tones that define Rhodolite.

What makes this piece truly unique is the natural etching. These crystals were subjected to high-pressure hydrothermal fluids late in their formation, which naturally "sculpted" the faces into a complex landscape of geometric pits, channels, and frosted ridges. This etching gives the garnets an architectural, almost alien appearance that contrasts beautifully with the sharp, white Feldspar matrix.
