This 55g specimen stands out for its unique "hand-feel" and complex surface. The Quartz crystal displays the classic Lemurian habit, characterized by deep, horizontal growth striations—often called "barcodes." However, this crystal has also undergone a natural etching process, giving the faces a frosted, sculptural appearance that looks as though it was carved by the mountain elements themselves.
Accenting the base of the crystal are reflective plates of Mica, which provide a brilliant metallic flash against the translucent quartz. The specimen is still attached to its original host matrix, giving it a rugged, "as-found" look that collectors of Himalayan minerals prize. Measuring over 7 cm in width, it has a wide, low-profile footprint that makes it exceptionally stable for display on a shelf or desk.
