Sourced from the legendary Shigar Valley in the Skardu district, this 24.7ct Aquamarine is a true collector's prize. Unlike standard crystals that are broken from a matrix, this piece is double-terminated, meaning it formed freely in the pocket fluid, allowing both ends to develop sharp, pristine hexagonal terminations.
The crystal exhibits a beautiful, saturated "ice-blue" hue with excellent internal transparency. Its faces are incredibly lustrous, showing the characteristic vertical striations that prove its natural, unpolished origin. With a robust 19mm thickness, the crystal has a significant presence and a "gemmy" heart that glows when backlit. This is a 100% natural, untreated Beryl specimen that captures the icy essence of the Karakoram glaciers.
